My mom is retired and works in a thrift store and earlier this month she brought me a hardcover book she had picked up for $2 she thought might interest me. The title of the book is "Shadows in the Jungle - The Alamo Scouts Behind Japanese Lines in World War II" by Larry Alexander. It is an excellent book on special forces operating in the Pacific theater and I highly recommend the book. A really nice break from my usual American Civil War and American Revolution reading habits. Has anyone else here read it?
