And all I had was a .45. I could use one of these. I've a darn coyote
that keeps going behind things. Ouch--$35K

Man I did love my .45 and getting to use the grease gun was a blast as well. Was really sorry to turn them in for that piece of junk 9mm. Funny how some units are going back to the 45... As for this little beauty it would solve the coyote problem! We havent seen any of these babies yet. They are being fielded but I dont have any more info on what level unit they will go down too. My guess is they will probably go to the heavy weapons platoons and perhaps down to the Infantry Platoons as an alternate to the M203. I will see if any of my buddies have seen anything on them and will let you guys know. I know I would love to fire one of these babies.

Dear Santa,

Nothing special for me this year, just an XM25 with ammo and batteries (batteries not included).

From the article:

".....Army plans to purchase at least 12,500 XM25 systems beginning next year -- enough for one system in each infantry squad and Special Forces team."

So, it is a squad level weapon, and a nice 'multiplier' for the guys over there.

$35k is a lot of money but if our guys have to be "there" we need to give them the best gear
