They look good Mike, first time to view the donkey set in colour. Something a little different in this range. Good pick up. Robin.

Robin...

I think that donkey will go in any direction you want...

even without a carrot to tempt him...^&grin

he would be a very versatile piece for almost any conflict...

"the Beast of Burden" was used by everybody as a pack mule...

a really versatile sculpt...

TG should do a re-issue of him as a stand alone figure...

I would love a few sets for my John Jenkins French Indian Was diorama...

the donkey will also be part of the Aussie Jungle Patrol
guy:)

Great Idea Mike, we have asked our factory to make a standalone version of this donkey vas well as another and these will be sold as a new Accessory Pack early 2015.

Best wishes Vicki

hey Vicki...

I think that might be a good move...
these are definitely adaptable to almost any era...
they should appeal to a large audience...

Yep I reckon this would appeal to most collectors who could use in a variety of series they have. Robin.

That's great news ! :salute::

I nearly put an order for this mule + soldier set just to have the mule {sm4}

There clearly seems to be a demand for such a "beast of burden" but IMO it was the exceptional quality of the sculpt (which captured the interaction of the stubborn mule with the Legionaire) that made this set really stand out (it's the first TG figure I've ever bought and certainly won't be the last).

I hope TG doesn't lose sight of this in the rush to create the second mule for the Accessory Pack as many animal sculpts can be pretty ordinary to say the least.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that I hope the second mule is done with as much skill as the first and doesn't simply end up looking like something from a children's farmyard play pack in the rush to meet demand......even a donkey deserves a touch of class :) :) :)
