Ever have a figure that just didn't come out right, no matter what you did? Or was it one that looks great, even though you didn't believe it could be done? I "converted" a TSSD G.I. (the one firing the Thompson) into an Indochina Legionnaire by painting the jacket in the USMC jungle pattern and the pants like the British airborne style. Try as I might, I could never get the camo on the jacket to look right - the colors were matched fine, but the pattern is just off.

I have two Jacobite figures that were from New Hope. Painting instructions are sketchy at best and there are no good references online that I can find. Doing the best I can with them.

Then the Spartans were really hard but that was because I was seeing double after the coma:D;)

Double eh, well that makes the ones you did for me even more impressive.;):D

I don't have a photo, but. I did two of these in 150 mm back in the 70s. The customer was a pain.

I did this one for the director of The Un Namable. A pain as well. The photo is from the director's website.
