Thanks for sharing this link. 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] Ypres is a truly great Canadian battle. Untried and inexperienced Canadian soldiers were able to stem the German assault after having their left flank (the French) disappear and after being subjected to numerous gas attacks.

The guy who invented/ developped Yperite was a German jew Fritz Haber who worked for the army and always tried to prove he was a good German . He is also the guy who invented the infamous CyclonB without knowing what it will be used for .
When Hitler took power in 1933, he was recovering of illness in France . He will come back directly to Germany to offer his servce, when all the others ran away . German accepted, even if he was a jew, as a war veteran, but was ordered to fire all non aryen of his lab .
He refused and died in Bâle in 1934
