Has anyone bought from ZodiacArt on E-bay? There are a few Russian produced pieces I'm interested in, but having never seen them or know about the seller, I am very nervous about spending that kind of money

ZB,

What is ZODIAC ART? When I saw the thread I thought you were talking about the Zodiac Killer.

I would not buy them, paint quality & sculturing are kind of mediocre in my view in comparison with other high end Russian manufacturers.
I recommend always to buy only best quality you can afford :)
Just my 2 cents.

These look like copies of other manufacturers figures.I would not buy them.

Well someone brought the figure for $170 .... {eek3}

I saw a lot of top quality figures at the MFCA show (Valley Forge) a week ago. Many were much more detailed and for a lesser price than this one, but he was still nice.

Interesting thing is that many K&C / FL / TG / WB / JJD and such (non-Russian collectors) get all bothered and upset at a price of $45-$60 and the quality is not that different.

Just a curious thought and not meant to start a Holy War here.

Larry,
I get kits and have them put together.It cost about $130-$150 per figure but they are few and far in between.I have 4 out right now.I used some income return money to get them done and probably won't get any more done until next year.Unlike the pre-painted figures they don't belong to a large range.With the Jenkins,Britains,KC,etc.you have many more figures in a range and it would be cost prohibitive for most to pay large sums per figure.
