Group of us are thinking of ordering the set from SIERRA. however keep hearing that this will also be sold in the UK as well? hear the Guards Shop are going to stock the set.

I find it hard to believe this will only be available in the US, it is like having a ACW Set sold only in the UK! Makes no sense.

No worries... Sierra is nothing like the old Modelzone trainwreck.. they have great customer service and reasonable international shipping...

We can and will order from Sierra but just thinking cost, we will have to pay postage and import taxes, plus wait of course. But if it is being sold in UK then why not buy in UK?

If you are on about Brothers in Arms Set I have reserved 2 sets plus made my order up to $250 in order to get free postage/shipping.
I am not looking forward to the customs charges though.
I wish I had known it was going to be available in the UK as I might have waited..... Bugger !

I ordered from Sierra as well. I wish I'd known it was going to be available in the UK. Why oh why is W Britain's communication to collectors so poor? It doesn't take much to send an email or post on this forum does it now?

I do not know if the set will be sold in the UK, I am asking for an answer whether it will be or not and the best to answer this will be William Britains, I had heard that the Guards Shop was going to get some of them?

Sierra TS today writes.........

....we just received an update from Britain's with a revised delivery schedule. Originally we had expected this set to be delivered in March 2014!. They have revised this date and we are now expecting it in Late April / Early May 2014! We are sorry for the delay and we will dispatch your order as soon as it arrives. If there are any more changes, we will do our best to keep you updated.
If any one should be attending the upcoming West Coaster Toy Soldier Show in early March. We will have on display the final production version, plus a few as yet to be announced pre-productions sets. Also if you are visiting our store in Los Gatos we have this set and the pre-productions sets available for your viewing pleasure, along with lots more.

Thank you for your order, we are sorry for the delay, but the wait will be worth it. If you have any questions please contact us...

I just placed my pre-ordered for this set.
Wow ... the limited edition set is now 450 up from 300 in the previous set... that is getting close to normal wbritains limited edition territory... either wbritains is increasing their minimum or demand was heavy for the first one but it does not seem to be sold out yet....

The logic is defying me.......... 300 sets for the first now 450 sets. Yet WB's expect to sell 500 sets of a highly expensive set "20150 British 24th Foot Ambulance Overrun by Zulu Warriors". See the US price is $420. So guessing around £370 in the UK.

Now noticed that the new release 20144 "No Rules" is limited to 400 piece production run. No mention of this being an exclusive!

New two piece sets (20148 and 20140) are listed at $72. Suggests that yet another price rise is on the way............:rolleyes2:

I says right on the WB site No Rules is a limited edition set. Who said it was an exclusive? I think you misread the title of the thread which says 2014 exclusive(referring to the figures being released by Sierra.) As to productions number I am sure it is a bit of a guessing game. I would imagine the demand for the first Sierra exclusive was high so they decided for the second figure release to make a few more so as not to disappoint collectors. The ambulance maybe got it's numbers based on the fact that Britains still has some of the 600 sets that were made of the Gun team set.

It had also been noted elsewhere on the forum that there would be an increase in price.
