A set I'd very much like to see produced is a Zulu War headquarters set, like those already done in ACW range. Perhaps Chelmsford's HQ on January 22, 1879 - at about the time they're beginning to worry if something is amiss back at the iSandlwana base camp. Figures could include Chelmsford, Crealock, Col. Glynn of the 24th, and a Naval officer aide de camp with spy glass (A scene right out of Zulu Dawn).

Ken, if you you're out there looking in, and haven't thought of this already - hopefully this will plant a little seed. :wink2:

That is a great idea. Could also inlcude dismounted lancer officers.

Came across the name of Chelmsford's Naval ADC tonight while reading Ian Knight's book Zulu Rising - Lt. Berkeley Milne of HMS Active.

Lt. Archibald Berkly Milne was a rather interesting man who rose to the rank of full Admiral by 1911. - Back on January 22, 1879, when asked by Chelmsford to have a look back at iSandlwana through his spyglass, Milne reported back that the ''oxen'' appear to have been driven into camp, otherwise all looked normal..... As we all know, those ''oxen'' turned out to be Zulus.
