I saw some older postings on here about a book covering The K&C product line. Did it ever come about? Rob

Not as yet.
Louis is compiling the info with help from others (including fantastic photos from panda1gen). I believe Louis has got most of the info and pics together, and is waiting for a steer from Andy as to format, layout etc.

Once we get Louis's book all we need is a book of Gordons work and we will have all we need-two volumes for the dedicated K&C fan,i'm imagining it wrapped in xmas paper all ready;)

Rob:

At the West Coaster there was talk of a book inclusive of Gordon's work and or a "How-To" series. As for the K&C Chronology book per the comments (K&C) I believe we will all see it sometime soon-the question or perhaps the delay may be in part to proper marketing & the actual book format as in volumes, etc. I look forward to it whenever it lands at my "BOO." (Base Of Operations)! Also looking forward to the Andy & Gordon figures (WW II attire of course so they can be used in a diorama) which will accompany the book.

I think having the Andy and Gordon figures is an excellent idea for several reasons:

1. we can place them in any diorama of our choice

2. we can position them in the line of fire and put them in danger

3. some members may prefer to place them as parade commanders to inspect the K&C troops and for the troops (as well as the Egyptian dance girls) to worship them.

4. we can we can have them run over by tanks if we're not happy about a K&C product

5. we can have other troops to shoot their backs when they are not meeting our demands (not producing higher quality figures and lowering the prices)

6. I may one day use my clumpsy 'big hands' to accidentally break the Andy and Gordon figures!

Welcome aboard 4th Dragoon. The book has been fully written for some time now. The photographs are still being compiled (the photographer is presently visiting and taking more shots for the book). The chapters and several hundred photos have been forwarded to the sponsors (who are busy with other projects as well) and we are awaiting suggested formats, paper sizes, etc. from the publisher the sponsors are dealing with. Hopefully we will hear something soon.
