Series one and series two boxes; very nice condition, the problem with the older series one boxes is the plastic on the figures sometimes dries out and they shatter into pieces, those figure sets are 60 years old.

The box art on the series two boxes was tremendous, really grabbed me as a kid.

That's interesting, George, I didn't know that. I had the Romans and Britons from the HO kits. I knew how the soft plastic didn't hold paint well, and a paint job would flake off after just a little bit of handling.
But the Airfix figures were so cool, to set up a nice diorama.

I have an Airfix box of 54mm soldiers that broke into many parts after 20-years. Maybe its the humidity in Hawaii that destroyed them.
