Memories of Christmas passed (1 Viewer)

"May our loved ones always be with us this time of year." I said that meaning to say may we always remember them and may they be with us in spirit.
As for Dad, he got Swoppets (Knights and the West) and a wooden Western Town and metal Britains Knights of Agincourt, Arabs, Bands, Lifeguards & Hussars etc. as well as what he mentioned before.
I got mostly Star Wars and Transformers and what I wanted at the time Dad always bought me some toy soldiers. Included are: 80's metal Britains (such as the Queen/a Mountie/bagpipers etc.) but mostly Herald plastic figures. I loved the Knights, as always.
In any case, we try to keep the traditon alive.
Please keep posting your experiences.
Paddy for Dad & me

I remember building cardboard ships for our Star Wars figures and playing with them with friends for days. How fun!
When Empire came out, I wanted one of the large AT-ATs. My parents bought me a small cardboard version on a plastic base. Set up pillows with a sheet on the floor to create a Hoth scene.
What we didn't have, we made up for it with imagination.
