N.F.L. 24-25 Season (2 Viewers)

The Rams are playing with house money today with their third road game. Seattle is a tough place to win but the Rams have a fighting chance. If they can force Darnold to win the game with his arm, there might be a turnover that decides the outcome.

Jimmy G. will be in his 7th NFC Championship game today. Or at least watching from the sideline.

Up 7-0 with your defense playing lights out and with a backup QB, the Broncos pass up a chip shot FG to go for it with predictable results. That might come back to haunt them. No way NE should have gotten the TO with one second left before the half. The clock doesn't stop when the coach signals for the TO but when the ref blows the play dead and acknowledges the TO. Fortunately, it didn't make a difference.

true...consider the conditions...impossible to play cohesively as a team in that weather...especially on offense...still Pats in the SB...

Congratulations to George and his boys, just unreal conditions in that 2nd half....you know if I remember didn't George say something about the Pats were going to be awful in the beginning of this page?..🤔😊

George. Count your lucky stars here take the win and hope for much different effort in the super bowl. Wow. Probably worst played game I have ever seen.
tough to play a decent game in howling winds and a blizzard.

I don't care if they won 3-2, a win is a win, a trip to the Super Bowl is a trip to the Super Bowl, New England's 12th and 40th playoff win.

WE ALL WE GOT!!..............WE ALL WE NEED!!!

Whether the Rams pull this off or not hats off to them to make that dummy db from Seattle pay on the td pass. How dumb can you be. Was warned for taunting twice.

I thought for a catch you had to catch move survive the ground? That was an incomplete pass imo by Seahawks.

Kudos to Seattle. They were the better team. I'll leave it to others to cry about the refs and weather etc. Good luck with Bad Bunny and the Super Bowl.

Just for clarity:

The Patriots have a 23-yr old top-2 MVP candidate whose team is playing in the Super Bowl, first team in NFL history to go 9-0 on the road. Tom Brady, the GOAT of NFL QB's, didn't get a whiff of MVP consideration until year 8 of his NFL career.

The next two weeks the media is going to tell you he and his team are garbage, played a soft schedule, faced three tomato can QB's in the playoffs, have no chance vs Seattle and the real Super Bowl was the NFCCG, the line is already at Seattle -4.5, I expect it to move to -7 by game time.

WE ALL WE GOT!!..........WE ALL WE NEED!!

ok, went 1 for 1 yesterday. I really thought the Rams were going to do it, but a muffed punt and IMO questionable call hurt them. However, they had a shot and it was a great season, hats off to them.

SO, who is the pick in the SB. Early pick would say Seattle has an offense that is going to give the Pats a fit for sure. Maye needs to play much better (i know conditions were terrible yesterday), but he has to play at the high level we saw in second half against the Ravens, if he does, it is a toss up. I really think this one is anyone's game. SO, I don't have a pick this time. I call it a 50/50 and I hope for George the Pats win. I can't stand Seattle ever since Holmgren cried a river over being run over by the Burgh Bus (Jerome Bettis). Left a bad taste in my mouth.

Anything is possible but the Seahawks are red hot. No weaknesses. The Pats have played great defense. Maye has been awful, though. I'm going with Seattle 34 NE 10. These are more the Steve Grogan than Tom Brady Pats but maybe their run of luck holds and the Seattle team bus runs into a ditch. I would like to see Cooper Kupp go out with another ring.

Good win George...you're on the cusp of winning an unprecedented SB #7...

Thanks Mike, it wasn't pretty, it was a slog in the second half.

Maye is not playing well in the playoffs so far; even before the weather went south, he was missing throws, this was all on the defense like it's been the whole post season.

The Patriots go into the Super Bowl with the lowest playoff PPG since the 1979 Rams, the weakest schedule since the 1999 Rams, yet here they are.

A dream season as a fan, after two back to back 4-13 seasons/we were a laughing stock/all the haters were taking victory laps/we got the right coach, we've got the QB as well, he needs to step up his game for the Super Bowl.

We'll see what happens.

Terrible hire by the Steelers. McCarthy has a long pedigree of disappointing. I guess there is no such thing as failing as a football coach. No matter how many times they fail and get fired someone is willing to hire them for millions.

Still soaking all of this in, it's glorious, not going to lie, cannot believe this team coming off of two 4-13 seasons is going to the Super Bowl.

This season has been a fun ride, we'll see how things go in two weeks.

The Broncos have the consensus best OL in the NFL and the Patriots got pressure on 45% of drop backs in the snow (usually benefits the OL). Stiffham doesn’t exactly help, but the eye test sure says they were winning up front no matter what they did.

Repeat that performance and they can win against Darnold, the same guy who after being harassed all game long by the Patriots in a game back in 2019 said "I'm seeing ghosts out there."

The Patriots are wearing all white for the Super Bowl, so we'll see if history repeats itself.

Which Darnold will show up, the guy who shredded the Rams yesterday or the guy who led the league in turnovers by a QB.

IMO, the better team lost yesterday, had nothing to do with questionable calls or the weather, McVay did not have a good day, should have gone for two when it was 31-26, had he done so and gotten it, when they failed on 3rd and goal late in the game, a FG ties it, or better yet, at the end, a FG wins it.

A real shame to waster a career year from Stafford, but at least he'll be getting that MVP trophy, so there's that.

Yesterday it was Mike 2, Sean 0.

I'm not one who makes predictions, not my bag, I let others do that.

34-10; good to know.
