My Figarti Vehicle Collection (2 Viewers)

Thought it was time to post photographs of my Figarti vehicle collection.

I'll make some comments on issues I have had so that others can benefit from my experiences in collecting these.

If anyone requires additional photographs or comparisons, please let me know.

Let's start with some US vehicles

ETA015 Red Bull Express (with fuel loaders)

Apart from paint wear on helmet and fingers haven't experienced issues of paint feel or broken parts.







Terrific little add on set of mechanics and bonnet that sits open

M4A4 Sherman Crab Mine Flail Tank









A great model but when it arrived the arms to the flail drum where broken and the hydraulic cylinders also broken assuming couldn't hold weight so had to reinforce all stress points and also had some paint peel so had to do lots of weathering to mask repairs and paint loss. But very happy with end result and not sure we will see any other manufacturer try to do this one again.

M7 Priest - 105mm Self Propelled Artillery











Apart from paint wear on helmets no issues with breakages or paint peel and gun can still move up & down and hold position

ETA001 US M3A1 Half Track










Have 3 of these, 1 converted to winter and will post separate photos of this. Of the 2 one has no issues and second has paint peel on sides that required stabilising, primer applied to repair area, repainting and weathering to hide

PTA 002 M4A2 Sherman (Was originally for Pacific but altered so can be used Europe & Pacific)










No paint or breakage issues with this model

ETA 005 Sherman M4 with Fording Stacks











Stacks have a desire to jump off so be careful when moving model around or glue them in place.

Again no paint or breakage issues

ETA 017 Sherman with rocket calliope









Whilst no paint issues or breakage the calliope has little movement, and figures don't stay in position so watch them when moving

ETA 022 Sherman M4A1 with hedgerow cutter









This model has been modified to include baggage but no paint or breakage issues.

Baggage just makes this a great model

No issues with this one

Only real issue is that standing Mp with Tommy Gun keeps wanting to exist vehicle so be careful when moving

Lucky to get this was on my wish list for several years and arrived with no issues except little bend in the gun barrels but missus paint and breakage issues so happy to have it

Hey Mark, thanks for posting these photos, Figarti certainly produced some well detailed sets, some I had forgotton about. I can't even recall seeing this Ambushed Jeep before, what a terrific animated set.

In your opinion, what is the reason for the paint issues on some models and figures? and no issues on others? Andy
