Things that I really like (7 Viewers)

I think we can safely rule Mamdani out since he can't constitutionally ever become president not being born in the US. My best guess is that it is Newsom with a female VP. Maybe AOC or Abrams. A strong anti-Trump TDS ticket that has a better than even chance of winning.
Thank Christ he's not elibigible to run.

Newsom/AOC; good Lord.

CA has the highest gas tax, gas prices, electricity prices, real estate tax, poverty rate, homelessness rate, highest number of illegals living there, imagine him turning the whole country into CA?

I can honestly see a path to him winning too, which is the frightening part.

The two most comical things I've seen recently were the CA governor and mayor debates; Mother of God, bon chance to that state/city.

I look forward to VP AOC telling me I didn't really earn my money the past 30 or so years, it's impossible to earn that much money selling toy soldiers.

seems like the "Things That I Really Like" thread...will now be used as the outlet for political purposes to slam Democrats...

the moratorium didn't last very long...

"Things That I Really Like"... to state negative political views...that's funny...

since "Things That Annoy Me"...is not an option anymore...posting what you don't like on this thread is pretty creative...

we even got a bonus video too...

I have given Trump his chance to come thru for me.

He has simply failed to fulfill his campaign promises that spoke to me.

That doesn’t mean I want a Democratic President, it means that I don’t want the next President to be a Trump 2.0, trying to emulate his leadership style and policies.

I think the Republican Party can do better.
I'd like for a president, any politician really, to keep their campaign promises.

I don't think that's a lot to ask, but what do I know.

"I'm going to lower grocery prices and drill baby drill"............grocery and gas prices skyrocket.

Ok then.

I'm taking the Lakers tonight in a do or die situation. They avoid the sweep but go down 4-1. OKC just outclasses them.
well...last night OKC totally outplayed the Lakers in every aspect of the game...a sweep seems inevitable...OKC is just too good...

while it's hard to have to sit Doncic due to injuries...as he averages of 35 points per game...OKC still crushed the Lakers when he played them in regular season...

with Boston gone...assuming NY and Detroit win the East...I just don't see either of them beating San Antonio or OKC...

and the best playoff match to watch should be San Antonio and OKC...

tough year for the Lakers...was glad to see them win at least one round...

IF Detroit and the Knicks advance, watch the officiating in that series and how slanted it will be towards the Knicks; a Knicks/Spurs or Knicks/OKC match up would be great for ratings, all those mouth breathing Knicks fans who stampede into the streets after each win looking to burn down the city vs the Pistons getting in?

The NBA would never allow it to happen.

Plus who wouldn't want to see that multiple academy award winning actor Ben Stiller mugging it up on camera in the finals or that midget Spike Lee?

Just awesome, can't wait not to watch.
Some great teams but I have zero interest once the Lakers get swept. An OKC/Pistons series might be good basketball, but no skin in that game. The Knicks have no chance if they end up against OCK or SA. Might be a sweep. MN is a sleeper in the west. They have the athletes to be competitive with OKC and SA.

The Lakers are now 0-7 against OKC this season with the average margin of victory being over 25 points. My spidey senses tell me that coming back from 0-3 is not happening.

yea...no dog in the fight...I understand how you would lose interest...

not counting the playoffs...too many injuries this year...season was doomed from the start...

Doncic missed 17 regular season games...
Reaves missed 31 regular season games...
Lebron missed 22 regular season games...

next man up just didn't work for them...

with all that said...I don't think the Lakers could of beat OKC even if completely healthy...

The West is loaded; any of the three remaining teams would roll anyone who comes out of the East.

They couldn't beat OKC, SA or even MN. When you can't play defense, you are cooked against the elite teams. If you look at the stat line last night, the Lakers played well on paper. Several guys in double digits. But they couldn't get any stops. Luka would have made no difference is this series. Just outclassed.
