How about the "Leopold" railway gun?
Built in 1/30th and all. Now that would be something.
Though i guess it's hard to keep something that size Top Secret. In fact it's not even secret at all so... uhm i'll just walk on by, nothing to see here... move along.
Picture the scene James.Rommel on the field telephone to the driver of the Leopold Railway gun,a captured British soldier who once worked for British railways.
Rommel; I want you to bring up Leopold and bombard the Britsh beaches at once.
Fred; Sorry Erwin can't do that me ol china
Rommel; What!!
Fred; Fing is you see theres leafs on the line
Rommel;Gott in Himmel, what are you talking about man!!Do as i say!!!!!
Fred;Sorry, like to elp you out an all but its more than me jobs worth.
Rommel;Do you know who i am??,i've conquered nations and driven my Tanks across Europe for God sake!!!!
Fred;Sorry its a very bad line and its our regulation tea break,ta ta for now!

Not forgetting that if they took it to Russia it wouldn't be able to move cause the "wrong" type of snow is on the tracks.
Good old British rail. They'd struggle to transport a 25lb gun and fire it twice.
Ah yes 'the Wrong type of snow' i'd forgot that one.
I think they have one of these railway guns at the Aberdeen proving grounds in America don't they,i'm sure i've seen pics of it there. If ever i'm in that neck of the woods its a must.

How about a crack American hit-squad "liberating" an enigma machine from a sinking U-Boat? Similar to that movie, U-whatever-it-was. The operation must have been so top-secret it was covered up, so's the Germans wouldn't find out the Allies had discovered how to access their top-secret codes.Cheers H
The K5e 28cm gun (such as "Leopold" was a neat looking gun. I was surprised at the number of them built and the volume of German railway guns.
"Leopold" is good, the huge "Gustav" is too big, so we'll compromise on having a K&C 1:30 scale model of one of the 40.6cm (16") ex-naval guns with bunker and Kriegsmarine gun crew from Batterie Lindemann. This was one of the heavy gun batteries in Calais and actually bombarded England on a few occasions.
