FJ005 "Returning Fire" (1 Viewer)

Italian camouflage (1929 Telo Mimetico) was "borrowed" from the Italians after their capitulation in 1943.

The 1.SS.Pz.Divsion "LSSAH" took part in the disarmament of Italian forces so it along with 12.SS.Pz.Division "Hitlerjugend" which included a cadre of officers and NCOs from "LSSAH" seem to be the primary SS divisions to utilize the material.

I don't have a problem so much that K&C used it on some of the SS figures but rather that so many of their SS sets included it for a while. Here are some sets that I found that have at least one piece of Italian camo.

Don't feel bad neither do I......or most of our crowd, but Alexdakar,

Kilted Vampire, and several other do. That might be an option.

I did think about it John.

and the gentlemen you mentioned above, i find rather talented and produced some eye catching repaints.

however, costs, to be more precise, shipping cost, is not very kind at this moment.

and Singapore is rather far away.

Yo'd only need to repaint the trousers, everything else could be left intact. If you chose a nice straight forward uniform like field grey, then you'd be looking a coat in as close a match of grey as you could get to the others. Once dry, add some black to the grey and paint in the creases and finally use a little dark sand or khaki to dry brush over the lower legs, to get a bit of dirt on them. If you have a look at some of the other WS series, you could use this as a guide.
Give it a go! What's the worst that could happen? ;)
