:) Hello Andy! I just Received my EA030, and EA028, and they are Fine Figure's, but still NOTICING that the BRITISH, are in Generally Smaller in Size, than the Germans? For Instance the ARNHEM Anti-Tank Gun-(6 Pounder Team), 2-of the Men are too Small, and yet the other Observer is a Little bit Larger? Is it possible that you could Notify the Factories/ Sculpture's, to be MORE Scrutinizing on this Size issue? I hope to see the Future (6-Pounder Gun Team), for the 8th Army with MUCH Larger Figure's, and the Future Mortar Team also! Semper Fi!

Since Andy is busy getting ready for OTSN, I am more than happy to jump in here and answer this question.

First of all, sorry to hear you are not happy with the figures John because I have noticed in the past you are always and I mean ALWAYS happy with the size of the figures, the tanks and the items Andy makes. In fact, and correct me if I am wrong, but I think this is THE first time you have ever complained about anything.

Anyway, back to the subject at hand, the size of the 8th Army figures and the two figures that came with the Arnhem 6lb anti tank gun. See John, what Andy has done here is base those two figures off of actual soldiers from the British Army, Peter Murphy and John O'Callahan, who fought in the 8th Army at El Alamein and survived the battle. Due to their small height, they were drummed out of the 8th Army and having nowhere else to go, they signed up for the British Airborne and you guessed it, manned an anti tank gun at Arnhem.

So you see John, those two fellows manning the gun were smaller than your average soldier and the reason why you noticed is they are represented twice, once as 8th Army soldiers and again as British Airborne.

Carry on.

Thanks George, I was just getting ready to clarify Johns question but you beat me to the punch.
As a side note my uncle served with those two Brits you mentioned, he was a horse trainer and those two were both excellent jockeys as they got even smaller after the war.
Gary

No problem Gary, thanks for pointing that out, you learn something new everyday.

Ok John, any other questions about scale/height/weight/guns/colors/uniforms/weapons, etc, etc, let us know, ok?

As Walt Disney said, it's a small world afterall; you being from Texas, I'll explain it in terms you can relate to; how about all hat, no cattle, ok chief?

Gurkhas maybe? They served valiantly under the British flag.
