Yorktown, Yorktown, Yorktown--we're in a rut! There are so many more examples to choose from, too.
How about Monmouth, or Trenton, or a set of Knox' men bringing the guns overland on sledges to Boston from Ticonderoga? The latter were done in traditional toy soldier style by William Hocker, back in the day.
Or just a general set of a galloper gun with its crew? Or the New York State Artillery, with a portrait figure of Alexander Hamilton?
And maybe some bases from some of the other fortifications around the colonies. For example, a piece of the parapet from Fort Mifflin, for example, or a palmetto log base from South Carolina, or from Ticonderoga, or representing the Dorchester Heights emplacements?
Prost!
