Wouldn't it be great if K&C took a whole new approach with making toy soldiers.Don't get me wrong and don't come out swinging at me for I no K&C are the world leaders in making great toy soldiers and lead the world in new ideas but just think outside the square. How do you guys think and what would you like to see in a range that is completely different.Matt was first for K&C and what a great idea and than polystone tanks well what can we say big seller.Thinking outside the square how about a range done in black & white as a lot of the news reels were shot in WW1 & WW2 were done and they look great.I have seen 1/35 dioramas done like this and they look great.Maybe a limited edition set just to test the waters could be done.Lets have some ideas here as what would you like to see .Maybe Andy will even add a comment or Two.Simmo.

Black and white..that's original:D my favourite idea would be miniatures that shout commands ..have the panzer commanders singing the Panzerlied, or the vechicles with engine sounds and a big boom for the 88...and a small led light to stimulate the flash from the gun barrel:D:D

That certainly would be neat and with today's technology I would expect easy to do. Winston Churchill saying "Give us the tools and we will finish the job" or Queen Victoria saying "We are not amused" :D:D:D

Photos and movies were done in black and white originally because they could not do color.;) Life is in color so why would you want to depict it without?

I think Winston should be saying "...we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender,..." or "But if we fail, then the whole world, including the United States, including all that we have known and cared for, will sink into the abyss of a new Dark Age made more sinister, and perhaps more protracted, by the lights of perverted science." ;):D

I don't know about a whole range of black and white. I would definitely get a SL figure or club figure in b&w. It would be very unique and original (collector's item). Like being lifted out of an old photo. BBG020 or BBA029 would be a great pieces in b&w.

Black and white could be interesting in some settings - such as CW figures posing for a photographer - but for most I would rather have color - the stand out better in a display case. A friend of mine collects Yankees figurines from McFarlane, and they did a kind of sepia version of Babe Ruth - sort of interesting, but he also looks kind of lifeless in that color.

I personally like color especially when it is done properly with realistic weathering.......

Well we didn't get to many replies and hardly any interest in trying anything differen't.Maybe K&C are pleasing just that way they are and you shouldn't change a winning combination.Ideas cost nothing Simmo.
