Hi forum members and fellow enthusiasts. At last I'm getting some images of my collections posted
in a series of galleries on blackcats website.Started with Waterloo and eventually hope to have tabs for all the different periods and scales I collect.
Lots more work to do , but I have web help from a friend of mine .Just beginning but we'll add new themes and images as we go.

Fubar/Thor/King Diorama Builder you. :)

Hey NARGUY! I looked at the sie this afternoon and he had loaded up parts of my Waterloo post I had on treefrog Summer 2007.Narrative too!
Guess I'll have to finish where I left off.Prussians enter the fray and the last gamble, March of the Imperial Guard.
Still want to do a Gallery with the 1812 Overture{ 2112 overture?!} in a youtube video. Maybe later we'll learn how to do that.

Hmmm i cant place the 1812 overture in my head .
Fub this might sound odd but good music that realy works with massed.
Napoleonic French is the music they play for the Empire in Star Wars..

Nice gallery of your figures and scenes. I enjoyed your Pacific pictures. Nice work and always interesting to look at. John

Not only are you a great painter but I can't believe how many figures you paint. What is your secret to painting so many figures in short periods of time.
Mark

Marco. Thanks for your kind words.Theres no secret. Just been doing it a long time. I have a table full of assorted 1/2 done figs, Naps, WW2, Ancients ect.
I knock off one or 2 each evening.Sometimes 8-10. Sometimes none at all but over a years time I'll finish off at least 3-400 figures for various collections.
I concentrated on the WW2 Pacific for about a month solid, painting figs each evening.Had about 60 each Marines and Japanese + some emplacements, bunkers.
Had another round a couple summers ago and did another 100 Marines and 60 or so Japs.More emplacements.
Still have a Platoons worth of Marines 1/2 done. Will finish those off next time I want to set it all up.
In the meantime, I just paint something on my table. A Viking, A gladitor, Whatever and put them in their shelves until It's time to use them on the table.

It must be nice to have all that room! I could not access the 2nd page of WWii. but I get the picture!

2nd page isnt done yet. Will have lots more WW2, Normandy Airborne, Hedgerow, city , British, Arnhem ect. If I ever get the rest of the Soviets done, we'll have a Cross of Iron scene too!
Plus , ACW and yet even more Napoleonics.
Yes, Having a large well insulated cave equipped with all the comforts of home is
all a guy could ask for. Very lucky.

Are you going to make ACW figures or just paint Conte?

Fubmiester.
I like that pic with the Norman's in packed ranks out front of that Grand Manner Castle :D.
You should get your Miniatures out more often :)
or i will have to send my Viking Hord down to that cave of your's and slay them Normam's or Saxon's or who ever comes first.
Ragnar.

Beautiful site and fantastic work. I loved the Waterloo chronological series. As an aside, how do your cast figures match up size wise with WB and/or K&C, I think you answered this somewhere but I can't find it now?

Thanks for the kind words. I have a friend from a local model railroad group doing the site for me as I have no computer skills and not inclined to take the time it takes to sit in front of the puter to learn.Just not my thing.
Yes, I'd love to get troops out on the table more often. The 25mm Dark ages hasn't been out in about 5 years.Hoping to get different periods back out for displays and games and add some new images.
The Blackcat Napoleonics are compatible with Most plastics, bigger than ACTA, go fine with 54mm Britians. KC are quite a bit larger than 54mm so my troops are not compatible.
We'll keep posting images as we go along.
Thanks again
Harold
