I am new to this and don't have the history of K&C, but see alot of figures on ebay and such of so-and-so company made by K&C...

Is there a list anyhwhere of all the companies that subbed out to K&C?

Like Honor Bound, etc?

K&C made some of the figures for some of the parts works such as Del Prado and Hachette. There's an interesting article in The Collector, where it talks of the various companies who K&C have provided figures or vehicles for. You can check out the on line version at www.kingandcountry.com

Simon

Edit: Also some sellers will add King & Country to their listing for ohter brand figures, as it's likely to be picked up on more searches. Honour Bound do their own figures.

There a couple of dealers around the world that have had figures also commissioned by K&C.

We are one for example that have the CRIMEAN range being made by K&C. They are a K&C UK and K&C HK project. Sold exclusively through ourselves and TREEFROG in the USA.

Fred of Toy Soldier Paris has a couple of figures made by K&C also. Jean D'arc and also a couple of Foreign Legion figures i believe.

Welcome to the forum

I have a Hachette piece (General Nay) from ebay, and its well done.

You are right about people cross advertising with King & Country, especially for Honour Bound.

That is why I thought Honour Bound was made by K&C...

I discovered the Toysoldiers.fr figures..wonderful the french marine!I've immediately bought it!!!And i hope to add the Jean d'Arc figure!

That's actually a sort of advertising gimmick (I don't want to necessarily say false advertising) because they're using the words K & C to look at their listing, which you might not otherwise do without any K & C reference. I suppose we're all guilty of it as sellers

That is a big eBay "no-no" but I do it all the time. Fact is that there are certain listings which will appeal to K&C collectors but are smaller hit search words.

I and another eBay user once had Courtenay-Greenhill listings removed because the eBay TKO cops thought we were doing the above without realizing that Greenhill owns the Courtenay castings.

That was a fun debate where the eBay cops still would not concede that they screwed up.
