Curious,
Are there any other title combo's that people us when searching for K&C on E-Bay?
I'm looking for their WW2 Line.
Thanks.

How about king country. Should bring up both variations then.

The various permutations that people use can often be a closely held secret :) However, try: King Country, King & Country and King and Country.

Often I just use "King." Most of what it brings back in the toy soldier category at least is going to be K&C.

Just view ebay as a large database. You do not need to add the word "and" and you can filter your results by adding the "-". For example you results might come up with a bunch of King and Country bedsheets so you can do a search for "king country -bedsheets".

If you were looking for a specific set you could also try using the code the figure was assigned.

Thanks to all who responded.
It gave me several other variations to try.

How about using the Category feature instead, and drilling down to Toy Soldiers? That subcategory is split between pre- and post-1970, and when the category search returns those items, you could search in the results on the keyword "king".

Alex,

I'm not familiar with this series. Are they polystone? ;)

Simon,

That's because not many were produced and have been retired long ago so they are very rare. Maybe Louis can give a quote from his book. :D

Here's a quote from the book:

In November, 1997, King & Country released a strictly limited Napoleon's Egyptian Cotton Bedsheets (NABS), to complement the Wellington Comforter (WC) released earlier that year. The sheets had a 300 thread count, with the word "NAPOLEON!" embossed on them in brilliant royal blue. The sheets were "inspired" by Trophy's "Napoleon & Josephine's linen". Len from Trophy sent a cease and desist pillow sham in January, 1998. 500 sets were issued, although there were 503 numbered certificates. The sheets originally retailed for $49.95 and were available only in "Emperor" size . . .:p:D

Thanks for the clarification Louis. There's not much about K&C that you haven't got covered. :p:D
