Here is a quick figure comparison photo requested by Spitfrnd.
K&C highlanders with Miniwelt/Tinbay figures
1st Legion barvarians onside a miniwelt one and 1st Legion french onside miniwelt british.

Thank you very much Tim. That helps a great deal and confirms what you told me. That bottom right hand Guard is one I was considering actually.

I started to take out a couple of K&C cuirassiers to take a picture side by side with the collectors showcase ones but some how I never got that picture??? I ended up with these instead some how???

I just kept opening boxes looking at the figures and placing them on the table and some how ended up with this and never got the side by side photo???

Well your arrangements are a lot more interesting than a side by side comparison but you get pretty close to doing both. Very nice looking indeed.

It seems here that the the Guard pikeman is TinBay; it also seems their bases account for much if not all of the height differences. Is that correct?

I love all those guys together - really neat and cool display

I would like to see a pure side by side of the CS and KC Dragoons - they look very close together in the battle scene - but, I sure could use a clear shot to make up my mind if I want to add the CS Dragoons.

I think they are a bit pale but not as bad as all that. By comparison, you should examine the faces of some of the CS British Guard and even worse, the pictures of the 95th Rifles; now those are some scary blokes. No wonder la Garde recule.

Your probably right, but the highlanders standing next to the rosy K&C give the flesh tones an unnatural, deathish purple tone.

would have to be one of the most realistic pics i have ever seen .
thats true some of the Tinbay do look a bit Vampish but that K&C Highlander.
standing in the middle has me worried .

I agree with your observation Ray but I think it is an issue of contrast. The K&C HL figure faces are a bit too pink and the TB faces are a bit more too pale.
