Scale Fruit & Veg (1 Viewer)

I don't know, my figures are all clothed, so you can't see their fruit and veg ;)

Sorry, I couldn't resist that! :D

Seriously, they are very well done

I think they might be a little too large for 54mm purposes, though, generally speaking. Some items, like the loaves of bread and pieces of meat could be used, because they'd just look like large loaves or cuts. The vegetables might be a little large.

John Eden has some pieces representing produce that he includes in his market stall sets (Roman and Georgian/Victorian). Verlinden also made sets in resin, in 54mm scale; I think those are still in production, too.

Nobody makes glasses of beer, though, nor scale reproductions of stoneware or porcelain steins. I'm waiting for those.

Prost!

Excellent, thanks for the link! I checked the website out, and they have a pretty decent catalog. I think I've seen the set of sewer rats before on another forum. I'll have to track down the beer glass/bottle set and see how it looks close up.

Prost!

Fruits and Vegetables are good for the gut..... I mean the real thing.

Some of the fruits and vegetables portrayed in the SOHK look quite realistic.

Here are some of the SOHK sets that I pulled of the K & C web site:

HK 114 Three Food Barrels
HK 109 Fruit Seller Set
HK 104 Chinese Kitchen Sets

Yes, I think the barrel set would look good. It depicts fish, meat and veggies.

Thanks for the SOHK tip.

I just made a quick sortie to the K & C website. Very Nice.

Beat a hasty retreat before I was tempted to fill my shopping cart.

Would love to see the barrels in your Trophy Field Kitchen set.

Not sure if the scale/size difference would be an issue.

Best, Raymond.

Raymond,

I find that whole series quite tempting but have never indulged, fortunately.
