Please consider, for example, the current series Zulus/24th foot soldier :

- W.BRITAIN make Rorke's Drift
- COLLECTOR'S SHOWCASE make Islandwana

thus we'll never have 24-pounder rocket tubes nor gatling guns, whereas this armament was largely used by the British troops throughout all conflict ( Lower Tugela river , Inyezane river battle )

You should try Little Legion, they have one of the largest selections of Zulu War figures going and DO have gatling guns on their list.

Hi All!
Please be advised that when W. Britain decided to visit the AZW in matte finish we developed the defense of Rorke's Drift as the first phase.
We have not only planned on other aspects of the campaign, but we have already created sculpts for other units and actions. Later in the year we will move on to some of the other battles... including Islandlwana, Ulundi and other actions so that we can include some of the other interesting aspects and equipment of this short war.
The introduction and announcements of similar products by some of these other great companies will not change our plans. Hopefully the scale of these other products offered will be compatible with our range to give the collectors even greater choices for matte finish AZW dioramas.

Ken,
Don't copy Scott's 17th Lancer picture, as the plastron is facing out, with no piping on the tunic! I studied up on this uniform after the Lt. enlightened me about a year ago. I assured now that this range is in good hands guys.
Good sketch though, Scott. Thanks for posting.

I have no idea how you came to that conclusion. Just because they are doing one battle doesn't mean they won't do another.
