"Fit For A Queen 1857"

A piper of the 93rd Highland Regiment (The Thin Red Line at Balaclava) serenades the young Queen Victoria near an English country church in the year following the end of the Crimean War.

Figures: WB Crimean War series (Victoria) and WBCC (Piper)

Real nice use of the queen victoria set randy!!! As scot said i need to pick up that model, its a real great looking set hopefully its a taste of what to expect with the cerimonial line as they seam to be updating the quality of sculpting in this series? maybe we will get a new sculpt of the queen & the household cavalry soon? & maybe a few other royal personalities?

That would be great if they did and hopefully soon before I buy more household cavalry troops and chop off the bases.

Great set-up and tid-bit, Randy
I really like the quality and cleanliness of HM's horse. The saddle blanket and the stitching paint job is insane.

lol here comes the bases on horses debate again!!!! maybe they should just come with hooks so you can just remove the bases if you dont want them all my old ceremonial series horses never had any problems standing up all 4 legs are on the ground just never saw the point off them being added at the later date :confused::confused:

The funny thing is that the piper (with base) kept falling over but not the horse. Maybe too much Johnny Walker to heat up those pipes.
