Tony Neville still not well (1 Viewer)

Get yerself sorted mate, I'll need a sub on beer tokens at the end of March. Can't afford to have you being sick for a London Show (well, not for a second time anyway;))

WOW this thing is really putting up a fight!!

just managed to lift up the laptop again!! thank you all for your kind words.

Iam glad i dont have to talk as i sound like darth vader at the moment and have to take three breaths per word!! so typing is good.

Robs right the bloody thing went deep down and hid so when my antibiotics were finished it waited for a few days and came out fighting! unfortunatly ment going back to hospital which i hate! they have managed to get some cultures to grow in the lab to find the exact strain of Pneumonia it is! just glad the pain is not as bad!

on some stupidly strong antibiotics to pnapam the lung!! i did comment was i supposed to put the tablet up my *** or take it aurally as they are so big!! so my sence of homour not gone totally! lucky i had some weight behind me as i have lost 25lbs todate!! not a skeleton by any means but still weight watcher of the week every week with out being at the session!!

well back to the pills and the Military channel!! there is a three hour special on Monte Casino so a small silver lining!

Thanks again guys will be back as soon as i can but iam back down to 60% from the 80% i was at! so may be a while yet

PS- My mother calls the Military channel "The Hitler Channel- all Hitler all day!", my Dad just rolls his eyes and keeps on watching!

At least you are a huge Star Wars fan...now you can say "Luke, I am your father" with authority between wheezes.

You need to download a couple of the soundtracks from the movies to play in the background while you 'use the Force' to get better.

I hope you feel better soon. I am driving to Newark today to pick up my mother who is flying in from Bristol. On my next visit to England I hope to find K&C UK. So best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Hi guys

Sort of back in action after five weeks! i still have the pneumonia but the blood in the lung has stopped and i am now coughing up infection only......mmmmmmmmm nice!

had another visit to the Docs today and got yet another set of pills!! and again they have increased the dosage!! and boy are they getting bigger and harder to swollow!

At K&C UK we have a special event this weekend with some K&C UK collectors coming over from around the UK and the world so resting up to ensure that i am there! we also have about 6 WWII vehicles coming to display. then i will be back to half shifts next week and build my strength up!

Thanks again guys for the support and a big big thankyou to Shannon and Pete for their support. I / we have made some true friends through this hobby!

Glad to hear you are doing a bit better, Tony. Take it easy this weekend, and hopefully you will get a clean bill of health soon.:)

Tony, glad to hear you're on the mend, even if it is slowly.

Mate, re those larger pills, if they're that big, I'm not convinced they're the swallowing kind. Have you tried alternate methods of taking the medication? ;):eek:

Remember - the proper excessive amounts of Jack Daniels - can kill all viruses ! ;)
