Almost a hundred votes, thanks guys was good to get a cross forum opinion on this.It shows that its pretty close at the top between the first few ranges,i think my biggest surprises were that the FJ's and 8th Army didn't get more votes, but then i guess i did only give you one vote!;)

Rob,
My vote went to AK. If you had given me 2 votes, my second would have been 8th Army. I suspect others who cast their vote for AK would have done the same. The poll may not show the true popularity of 8th Army since most members who collect AK also collect 8th Army.

Very true Rick,i am the same.I did limit it a bit with one vote, but its good to see what ranges get the votes when its one vote per person.

Pandas are rare, just seen this.....anything British for me - I have too many German and many more US, no problem with either, but would like more Brits. Have been buying Figarti - two Grants and honey - all my purchases recently, because KC don't do stuff.

I will be catching up on FOB, 8th A and MG as soon as poss though, they are brilliant.

Don't blame you Kevin, those Grants are nice,i got one myself.I also love the British stuff, the MG range is really superb, same goes for the 8th Army/LRDG.

Same here. Just picked up the Crusader and it's a really great piece. Here's hoping Andy releases a few more 8th Army sets this year.

Just two votes short of the one hundred guys.Look at how popular the Russians are on this forum. And considering the Arnhem range has not been around that long compared to the others,it got very popular very quickly.

To split it up Bulge German and Bulge American etc is problematic. I think most collectros would buy both sides from whatever conflcit they are interested in. Perhaps there would be a bias so you may have more Redcoast than Zulus or more German armor than Shermans, but by and large you would buy both. Next poll we have we should just ask the era. SO for example war in North Africa or Normady etc.

I think it would be interesting to see a poll that differentiated between figures and vehicles to see what drives a range.
I cannot help but to wonder if the low scores for Fallschirmjagers and the 1939-41 campaigns is because there are fewer vehicles in the selection.
Does the availability of the interesting late war German vehicles support a range to the point that German subjects from the Ardenne Offensive top the list in the end?
Thoughts?

you hit it spot on Ken.

as far as i'm concerned, the vehicles played an integral part of my display, and i tend to shy away from ranges with less vehicles.

sincerely.

Is WB considering some more vehicles for it's WWII range then?

Its been a while since we had one of these and in recent months the WW2 Ranges have all grown in quality, depth and popularity. So i just thought i'd take a poll and see which of the WW2 ranges are the most popular with you guys on the forum.I've only inlcuded 'in action' ranges here and as a result have left out LAH.This is just for a bit of fun on an overcast and grey day here in the UK.:)

Rob its a bit overcast in Brisbane today so I will have a vote for the Arnhem range .I only have Eight figures but consider them some of the best K&C have made.Simmo.

Couldn't agree more Simmo, they really are superb figures.I need a couple of the British paras and all the Polish figures.I am picking all these up in London a week on Saturday as now they are starting to be retired i don't want to miss any of them.I think the price on these retired sets will go up quite considerably over the coming years.I think this range will go from strength to strength.:)

Rob

I agree, the Arnhem series is by far my favourite, especially the new releases. I have them all except for the Polish paras, they're on my shopping list. If they appreciate in value because other collectors feel like I do that this series is the best then hopefully value appreciation will follow. I think the detailing and camo of the British paras are superbly done by K&C. I'm looking forward to the future releases, so many possibilities....mortar team, personalities, medics, more wounded, ambulance jeep, carrier, etc etc. Even their opposition is my second favourite to collect with their intricate uniforms and wide variety of vehicles. Heck, throw in regular army Brits and U.S. paras and what more could you want!;)
Oh, capitolron, here's what I think of your belief that this series will be retired due to poor sales.........listen carefully.........can you hear my laughter all the way up here in the great white north? Be careful or my friends and I will come down and burn your whitehouse to the ground for a second time!:D
