The first two buildings are now available for pre-order on our website from our new range of scenics, buildings, and diorama accessories....

TER001 - Russian Village House with Thatched Roof
TER002 - Russian Villgae House with Wood Roof

The first two are meant to go with our Battle of Borodino figures as the inspiration for the buildings was the Borodino Panorama painting that I had the pleasure of seeing in Moscow. They are of course usable for any eastern european display and not just Napoleonics, ranging from the seven years war all the way up through WWII and probably beyond as this method of village house construction was widely used in this area for quite a long period of time.

These will be shipping in early May. More info and images on our website!

Another item ticked off of the check list of what it takes to be a legitimate toy soldier company, brought to you by the men shrouded in mystery that are First Legion Ltd....

Yep, those "mystery men" at FL have come out swinging with these outstanding terrain features; let's see, first terrific figures, now some outstanding terrain features, only one more rode to travel to make you legit Mr Matt, get my drift?? ;)

These will be outstanding items to sell at shows, but I am also sure some collectors will ORDERING THESE DIRECTLY!!!! as well.

Priceless.

No, our buildings have much more robust ego's. :D

Now, neither our buildings or figures are the BIG STEAK, but hey, the world needs Fajitas too my friend!

Regards,

Matt

Hey

I would consider them the FINE WINE that goes with the Big Steak !

Buildings do look great - look forward to you expanding your distribution operations in the United States ! Do you have a list of stores who carry your line ?

Keep you the great work.

Best Regards, Ron

Thanks Ron. The fine wine that goes with the Big Steak? Hmm...I'll can live with that! The dinner table has room for us all.... ;)

As for our US distribution operations, yes, we have a list of stores who carry our line:

First Legion (mail order)
Minutemen Toy Soldiers (trade shows)

That's the list and that's how it will stay. We're a direct sales company and intend to fully remain that way in the USA....And that, my friend, is absolutely by choice as there are no shortage of folks who have contacted us about distributing our products. The bottom line is that if we were to distribute fully, we'd have to raise prices or lower the quality and we don't want to do either of those two things (and I'm quite certain our customers would agree with that position).

Regards,

Matt

For those of us that favor the western side of the conflict, it would appear that this one would be useable for rural France, Spain etc. Very nicely done indeed.

Very nice Matt, by adding the figures it now gives us a sense of scale for the buildings...............and they are very decent sized buildings by looks of things !!

So George,
does this mean if I am inexorably drawn to First Legion that I cannot get them from you unless I see you at the shows?

Measurements in inches: 15.5" (L) x 9.5" (W) x 7.75" (H) for TER001
Measurements in inches: 15.5" (L) x 9.5" (W) x 8.5" (H) for TER002 (taller because of the Chimney)

Actually, we have several more buildings in the works and these ones are the smallest I think. We do things big here. :D In fact, one facade type building that we have coming out in June or thereabouts is about 3 feet long! Not for the faint of heart, but ohhhhhhh what a piece. :D

Having just seen the three foot long building Mr Matt spoke of, all I can say is you ***** ** *** ***** collectors are going to love it. I should have that one for the Michigan show and Historicon, incredible.

Now this sounds interesting and at 3 feet long (96 feet in 1:1) I am thinking something palatial maybe
