Hi everyone,

We are excited to announce our new high and medium grass mats. These were first shown at the West Coaster.

Size: 24" x 12"

Color: Natural shades of green

Product Description:

This product is very versatile. Each piece can be added to one another seamlessly to create as large of a diorama as desired. This life-like grass mat can be cut to any shape simply with a pair of scissors. The height of the grass can also be trimmed to the desired length. Each mat has been designed with a 4-paint application to be used with any of our other diorama products and also works great as a stand alone diorama base. These also work great in conjunction with our Signature pieces.

The tall grass stands approximately 2.5" high and the medium at about 1".

Yea, I definitely saw the photo of the medium with the 1" high grass.

It might be a little too long for what I want.

I was hoping you could post a photo of the "short" with a figure posed in it, so I could see if it was still too high for me.

I have these grass mats and the beauty of them is that you can trim them down to size you're looking for. I’ve done it with success. It’s not hard. After, most fields have grass levels of various heights depending of there access to light and water.

I love the direction Build-A-Rama is going. It's about modularity that gives you the collector the control of the theme you desire for the moment. No longer is it static.

Did you use a 1/30 scale lawn mower to trim your grass? LOL, anyway I love your idea. There are indeed different grass heights. What did you use to trim them down?

These sound very interesting. How do they fit together; do you tape them underneath or something else? I take it you can trim the grass as well as the mat? What is the material and when will they be ready to ship?

Hey Mark

I just received the grass mat today and OMG!!! Guys do yourself a favor and get one ASAP!! They are fantastic, I am currently working on a Westwall Pantherturm diorama and I will get some pics posted when it is finished. These mats are worth every cent!!!!!
