I recently added Wm. Britain's Victoria Cross Indian Mutiny series to my collection. It depicts the 2nd Relief of Lucknow in November, 1857 at the Secundra Bagh, the estate and garden owned by the Nawab Wajid Ali Shah. It was here that the Sepoy mutineers took refuge and were besieged by British forces who received 24 Victoria Crosses on that historic day. I am creating a series of "watercolor" vignettes from the event using the figures and building produced by Britains.

Randy,
Exceptional watercolor prints! Who is the artist? Can I buy them at Cranston Fine Military Prints? Great work!
Mike

Scott,
Do you have any of these WB sets?
Mike

No, not really my cup of tea. I tend to pickup the odd figure here and there rarely collecting a full series although the AZW is the exception to that rule and looks like the Durbar will be also.

This is a great WB series and I was sorry to see it ended so soon.

Randy

Hi Randy,

Thanks very much for posting these great images of the William Britain Victoria Cross Indian Mutiny series.

It is a real pity that the William Britain Victoria Cross series has come to the end of the line.

Best, Raymond.
