Price of $79 seems good for such a large piece.

All of the Scenic pieces have an 'SP' prefix, so I don't know where this particular piece is destined to be displayed, but I like the idea of Commandos storming up it.

I waited a whole month to see what item would retire and then buy them in stead of gambling on what could retire and purchase that as did I the previous months. I was frequently wrong. My wife could not understand the amount of packages arriving. I was out of excuses so I waited neatly.

That is a very nice looking piece. It makes me long for some Portuguese and Spanish fort walls (which would certainly be in the same vein) to help populate some Peninsular action.

Good question, I would think the stone and iron work could pass as far back as Roman but the specific docking use may be limiting.
