First dispatches pick is up guys! (1 Viewer)

Rob , I had not seen that . Youve got to wonder what would work in
terms of size . Imagine wondering through the door with a cruiser under
your arm it would probably end up inserted in the other Navel .

:D:D

Maybe a small Dunkirk type boat?(although i think Andy has said he's moving away from Dunkirk)

at last the tommy's are here !! missing is a tank ;);)

What i really like about these new figures is that they are in action and give you the feel of being 'in the thick of it'.A cross mix of figures taking wounded and cautiously advancing really gives that Normandy feel to them.I like the two wounded figures a lot,and this always adds depth to a scene i feel. Its easy to see how much thought has gone into these new releases and it has really paid off.Throw in a very nice Landing craft to back them up (like the guy on the Bren)and we have a superb release here.A big thanks to all at K&C,its just what we've been waiting for.

You're welcome! Cogs like Conte's were used from the 10th to the 13th century all over Europe. Your Norman armies could fight the Vikings, invade England, or go crusading against the Saracens on it.
:D

Exactly Uthred,

I have the Conte Viking Ship. And I'm waiting for the crew to be made for the Cog, ( I know, I won't hold your breath ) But Rick did promise to.

And I'm waiting for someone to make Crusaders that I'll like , someday maybe.

Cheers

:D

I'll tell her you said that Rob;)

Did you see Andy said the jetty will be perfect for the Naval vessels they are working on????.

Rob

Rob,

The Naval vessels got me VERY interested, really looking foward to this. The jetty(s) opens up great possibilities. But the Sand Pebbles doesn't do it for me, but I can appreciate the expression of style in it.

Cheers

Me too, will be interested to see where this goes?.

IXEC, I can see you are a Conte collector like myself. A crew for the cog is something many collectors expect. Maybe someday?

I'm still waiting for a Battle of Hastings playset with Norman cavalry and Norman archers shooting up, not down! Maybe someday... right?

Cheers...
