Those palm trees look awefully good, which company sells them?

Will the tower on the left of the gate be for sale as well?

From Andy's original post, it looks like K&C will be selling the palm trees. I agree - they look good!

what about the large tower?:D

Will that be available in the future?:D

Would these pieces go with King and Country Special Forces Figures?:D:confused:

Scott, see Andy's P.P.S!

Jeff

Yes they look awesome! I will probably use them for North Africa and Crusaders. Cant wait for those palm trees I could use some of those.

I will try to fit one of those two houses into what I have, assuming I can find the room. Palm trees look good. I have some palms from Department 56 that are really good but I think (haven't checked ebay lately) that are hard to find. These will be a welcome addition.

This is the reason why I held off buying the JG Castle diorama pieces - I knew Andy would make his own - and he did ! :D

They look wonderful and I can't wait for the wall sections to come !

Need to put my CATAPULTS to good use !!

These look very nice, can I ask about the civilians in the last photo are they Dept 56 ???

Excellent stuff here, would make a good backdrop for Churchills parade too!

Yes, the figure working the pot is from the Potter's Shop 56.59812 and the three figures eating are from Caravansary Rooms at the Inn 56.59807.

The K&C buildings appear to be a "brighter" color than the Dept 56 buildings. But isn't it true that not all buildings in life would appear to be the same. Natural light and other natural factors changes paint over time, so perhaps the K&C buildings could be termed "freshly painted", less exposed to sun light, or newer.

Those buildings / walls look really good. Even if I collect glossy soldiers I'm going to be mighty interested in these pieces. :)

These pieces are very nice!:) I have question, would these work in a southern Sicily setting?

Thank you for the info Michael.

What is the Dept 56? Its look like a Nativity figurines...

Dept 56 is a Minnesota company that specializes in resin figures and buildings that have either a religous or holiday theme. Most of their products are in 1:32/30. Some of their buildings and diorama materials work very well with some of the ranges in our hobby. Unfortunately the best series that works with desert themed ranges, "Little Town of Bethlehem", is retired. Here is a link to their web site http://www.department56.com/ Ebay has many, many Dept 56 items. That is where I have bought the majority of mine. Some times you get a deal and sometimes you don't. Take your time and if the one you see is too expensive, let it pass, more will be sold. They issued most items in the 10's of thousands.

This won't work with anything I collect, but the Ancient Egypt and Crusade collectors must be thrilled. Hopefully, there will be a new Normandy village series in the future for the WWII collectors.
