Seeing the Stalingrad activity here is giving me fantasies of Berlin '45. Perhaps we will have a JS2 within a decade? Wow.

I'd love to be a fly inside Matt's brain to see what other themes he is pondering. Aachen? The Cologne shootout? Oh my.

Berlin offers so many possibilities it simply must be done to the FL quality level at some point.

Matt, you are going to be in a big problem…..every collector will start to ask you for some kind of battle…

IMO you should give up on Napoleonic’s stuff and dedicate your self into WWII, Crusaders and Ancient times….

NEVER give up the Napoleonics. World War II is too drab. Crusaders and Ancients are cool but, Nothing can beat the color and pageantry of Napoleon's time. Besides, before there were numbered world wars, there was the corsican monster rampaging throughout Europe!

As impressed as I was by the Stalingrad figures, and as much as I prefer WWII to any other era, I think Matt would need to have his head examined if he focused anywhere but on Napoleonics. The multitude of colorful uniforms, the amount and variety of cavalry, horse drawn artillery and mounted officer figures in the Napoleonic Era lend themselves to connoisseur style treatment far better than any other historical period.

Hopefully you are having us on mate. If not then I must think you have taken leave of your senses. It would be better to abandon WWII but best to do both well, as they are doing rather nicely.

Actually, I know exactly what you're saying and from the perspective of sheer pageantry, horse and musket periods are certainly some of the most colorful. That being said, I think any period, WWII included, looks stunning when well done. I can think of many periods which would benefit from our style of figure making.

As for Berlin '45, not going to happen anytime soon gentlemen. Right now our WWII focus remains squarely fixed on Stalingrad.

I did say "not anytime soon" and with that I referencing Berlin 1945! I never commented one way or another on a JS2 or the decade you allowed us to produce it... Correct me if I'm wrong, but one can have a JS2 without having Berlin no? Perhaps Operation Bagration in 1944 which I would find more interesting than Berlin anyway....
