Civil War old vs new (1 Viewer)

I collect the new Civil War figures but the old figures that show up on ebay from time to time look tempting too at least in terms of the poses. However, I'm concerned that the improved sculping would clash with the old and I can't tell from the small pictures how significant the difference is. Any opinions on displaying the old and new together or does anyone have some decent quality pictures they could post that compare the old and new figures side-by-side?

I display the old & new together.
The sculpting on the old is pretty good, however the old figures are slightly larger than the new.

On the pictures I've seen on Ebay, the older versions have a more glossy look, is this correct or is it just the photos?

No thats not correct - it must be the photo - the old series are matte.

I will see if I have any pics of my guys.

OK - here are some pictures of my Old King & Country Sets - they are mixed in with Conte and Britains figures in this diorama.

Although the OLD K&C ACW figures are a tad bigger in size than the Conte and Britains - they still work well in my opinion. The new K&C ACW figures are similar to Conte and Britians.

So - I believe that you COULD USE THE NEW K&C ACW FIGURES WITH THE OLD !

I agree, never thought of using something like that for a water feature!
