Would you prefer all the vehicles you have to be the same Regiment, with all the same markings and such?:D:eek::cool:

Would it be good if all the British vehicles were from the same sort of Regiment e.g. 3rd Infantry?:D:cool:

I'd would make vehicle convoys a bit more simple I guess:confused:But I still think it would be quite good in some cases!:)

I can't make my mind up!
What do You think?:D

I think you should be able to make up your mind :D:D:D

But if not, I think it's too limiting. There are already lots of generic vehicles and others from many different units. The more prominently the AFV is identified, the more difficult it is for purists to use in scenarios when mixing them together.

It's cause I've spent so much time off polls, I don't know what's worthy of a poll, and what's not!:eek:

it's too broad of a question.

a better question might be "would you like to see a miniseries of troops & a few vehicles built around a specific unit"

Isn't that what paint is for?

I fully agree! If you are a purist who really cares that deeply, one can re-mark the vehicles, or there are those of who will do it for a fee. Sometimes the unit specified by K&C isn't the right one for a display. For instance - several "DDay" series pieces have troops with painted shoulder patches for the US 3rd Infantry Division. The 3rd Division was a fine unit with a proud record, but they did NOT serve in Normandy - they came in through Southern France and stayed a Seventh Army outfit. So, for those who care - out comes the paint brush (or turn the figures so the patch doesn't show).

As long as a given unit served in the chosen theater, I do not care if it served in a certain battle. Wouldn't put the US Marines or the 3rd SS in Normandy, though.:D -- lancer

Although I do not mind. It is great the way it is. Possibly a few sets all from the same regiment with armor/support. Collectors with historical detail would appreciate doing a project in this manor. Ex. German SS-Wiking group with armor. This would work with an Eastern front display. I had a good time organizing my HJ summer panther with my LAH kubel and figures for a Normandy project. The current variety is appreciated as well.

Yes the current variety allow us to create whatever display or scene we like.
