Hi everyone I need 3 or 4 K&C NV09 plain street sections as shown below!

These are for my private collection and will not be resold! I am trying to

finish the street for my French Village.

I could also use a NV05 as one of the pieces in a pinch!

Thanks for your consideration! Payment can be made at once via Paypal.

.........................................................

Brad I almost decided to come this year! A couple of days ago I thought I would have the wife pick me up tickets and just run up for a couple of days.

I would love to meet everyone, attend the luncheon and dinner and do a little room trading.......but then my dislike of flying reared its ugly head.

I used to work in the Airline Industry way back in the 1970's and we flew in all kinds of weather....snow, ice you name it. I was with Mohawk and we flew into the worst places & weather with turbo props.....no problem. Now days its fairly common for folks to be stranded for hours on the runways!
Unfortunately I know better, you can't tell me nearly 40 years later our aircraft are unable to take off when its raining!

As it is I fly up to Jersey 5 or 6 times a year.......so the thought of being a prisoner on a plane up to Chicago and back was the deal breaker! I supose when we finally get back to NJ I'll meet up with all the locals and we can all fly up together.:)

Now the wife tells me she wants to go back to Paris.

John,

I understand that dislike of flying; I'm not crazy about it either. Maybe one of these years, you and your wife could plan a trip to Chicago and you can drive up there.

Hope you make it back to Paris. I just can't wait to get back there.

Brad I'm certain I will get there one day, KV even suggested the train! I also

plan on attending the TCA Train shows again twice yearly at York PA......

they are also lots of fun.

Yes we will certainly get back to Paris shortly it is our favorite city to visit.

Hope eveyone has a great time at the show!:)

Yup, Paris is mine too. Wish I could live there but talk about high rent district although I would settle for Dinan out in Brittany. That is a great little town.

For me fear of flying is outweighed by the wonders of the world, and all the things I will see. Take the bloody train John!

John! If You go to Hobby Bunker`s website under the classification of Hobby Bunker Inc,You will discover that they have the road sections Your looking for at a reasonable price.Their shown on page 4 of that thread. The sections are not as high as Form Techs version, but they should do the job. Regards!

The problem is those sections are not the same size as the K & C tiles; the K & C tiles are 1' by 1' and the HB tiles are 10" by 12", so they are 2 inches too short and will not line up correctly...................

Michael of course you are 100% correct. Alas I have been flying since 1970,

we have been to europe more times then I can count (I used to fly for free

when I worked for the Airlines, in the "Good old days"):D I never really cared

for the flights over the ocean (we were once on TWA Flt 800) a few years

before the accident. We still make 5 or 6 jaunts up to NJ yearly and

I am uncomfortable with the uncertainty of the travel. We never know

when the plane is going to take off......how long it will sit on the runway, or

if it will land within a reasonable length of time. We have had American

Airlines cancel our flight after 3 hrs and put us on another Airline. Delta delay

us 3hrs on one flight 2 1/2 on another......keep us parked on a runway for

1 1/2 hrs before take off, then on another flight over 1hr parked upon landing

because they didn't have a gate ready. Any of these repeated

infractions would have cost a station manager his job back in the 1970's.

Today it seems to be accepted as normal.

Seasoned traveler's we ship our clothes and bulky items via Fedex and carry

on cameras and fragile items (along with a generous supply of food & drink):)

So we are able to be out of the airport and on our way within minutes of

landing, perhaps one day soon the airlines will get their act together

again.

Thanks Bill, I have contacted them in the past, it seems they don't update

their websight that often and often list items they no longer have!

Years ago I was quite excited to find a Conte Church on their sight only to

be told........"Oh is that still up there"?

However I have gotten quite a few nice items from them over the years.:)

Thanks for the heads up George, that wouldn't work with my displays.
