This is a question for the "high-rollers" who may have acquired the Fiessler Storchs from Figarti and K&C. How do you think the two compare even though the difference in price is quite significant>

I only have the K&C desert Storch, so I can't offer a comparison of the two. I will say that the K&C version looks like it is brand new, no weathering to speak of, while the Figarti version looks heavily weathered. Also, the Figarti version is much less expensive. However, only three of the K&C version was produced, and it is a real work of art, hand made from wood. Also, from what I have read on this forum, the Figarti version has frosted windows so you can't really see into the cockpit, while the K&C version has perfectly clear windows, and incredible interior detail, right down to seatbelts on the seats, and the gages on the instrument panel.

I got both. The KC Storch looks pristine and unweathered. I use it more for table top display rather than diorama. Very detailed interior which you could see from the clear canopy. The scale is more of 1/32.

The Figarti (I have the DAK version) is a true 1/30 scale. The KC German pilot and ground crewfigures are a perfect match. the proportions are right based comparisson with pictures featured in the Storch magazine published by Signal publication. The Figarti is heavily weathered and a perfect match with my KC DAK collection. While the canopy is frosted, you still can see thru the inside and see the details. It is not as bad as the painted canopies like the earlier warbirds produced by KC.

I am inclined to sell my KC Storch (Greece version) just to get the Figarti winter version...but then again that's me. BTW, the winter Storch pilots are better sculpted than the DAK version.

Over-all both are good models, but if diorama is your taste Figarti is it.

Or Cost wise, KC $600 vs Figarti" $289s take your pick.

I have Figarti's and I have seen K&C in the shop. I agree with all of the above.
