The hunting horn was lost by Frost when he was wounded near the bridge of Arnhem. In July 1945 the horn was found by Mr. ER Oosterwijk and in 1997 donated to the Airborne Museum. Unfortunately, the horn one years later stolen. Fortunately she came back liking and is now the hunting horn at her place in a showcase of the museum.

Great story Harrie! I'm glad it was recovered and now sits in the museum.

Nice photos, its great to see those museum pieces and the Arnhem events that us folks can't see because we can't make the trip to Europe right now.
 
Beautiful pics..i'd like to suggest for the next batch of Arnhem releases the folding motorcycle..(i don't remember its exact name) i noticed another brand (specialized in 1/35 plastic soldiers) has just produced it ..

Thank you very much for the link to the Dragon Welbike model with Drop Tube Container.

Yes, it is called the Welbike Parascooter. This was a British made single seat motorcycle made during WWII for the SOE. It was used by the British 1st Airborne Div. at Arnhem during Operation Market Garden.
