I'd be excited about a "plain" M3A1 APC. Each armored division had three battalions of armored infantry, plus there were several independent armored infantry battalions and the primary vehicle for them was the "plain jane" M3A1 personnel carrier. With fifteen armored divisions in action in the ETO by the spring of 1945 that means there were 2500-3000-ish APCs just moving infantry, plus the others assigned to engineer, armored artillery and tank units. A common vehicle that hasn't been available for quite a while.

I couldn't agree more and am at least as thrilled as you are to get the plain Jane M3A1, as I would be to get a plain Jane SdKfz 251 with troops.

Andy doesn't understand the ways of lobbying and Washington. You need to change your approach. You still have a few days before Chicago.
