Dispatches are up for November (1 Viewer)

K&C has to be commended for their passion for history. Once again we see them going to less commercial and more obscure series. Kudos to Andy and his creative/artistic team for a very "bit of this, bit of that" dispatch involving a wide variety of battlegrounds.
Highlights for me include the Flagbearing Aussie, Luftwaffe flagbearer and Skinner's Horse, very colourful pieces to liven up my Olive drab and camo WWII collection! Please, please, please can we have a rerelease of the grey version Pz. II, I can't bring myself to pay $400 + USD for one on Ebay!
Interesting retirements, I hope the way is now paved for a grey Opel truck release. I wonder if the FJ's were super sellers and K&C ran out of stock or were they duds???

Cheers
CFM :)

Re-releasing the Panzer II identical to the first?
Why not do a slight variation on shading, add a new number and tank commander? This way new and repeat buyers are satisfied and double the sales. For those of us who have the original no need to buy the twin.
Other releases are very interesting and diversified.
The palm trees are great accessories for Crusaders, North Africa WWII, Egyptians, Charge of the Light Horse and Biblical themes.

:( Andy, why didn't you make for us N.Africa Collectors, instead of a RE-Issue of the Panzer II;: you could have given us a WESPE, Marder II, or a SDKFZ-232-8-Wheel Armored car?

Wow, December surely will be a great month for collectors; something to please everyone I'm sure. I will not be partaking in the Afrika Korps (soldiers in shorts just dont look right to me) but the Marine Corps sniper and the Lighthorseman charging with bayonet forward are definites. Just one question, however: Why is the Lighthorse its own series and not part of the First World War line?

Possibly because some collectors didn't want the Italian troops that came with the previous release, and at £61 its a bargain!

I wonder about the FJ's also? Anyone have any insights (other than what Andy said at the Chicago show)?

So I said to my wife with the wooden leg, Peg............when my will is read and the shock hits our kids their inheritence was spent on toy soldiers, remind them the boxes are in the gargae rafters and need to go to the museum donation along with the soldiers.
He who bites the big one with the most pewter and polystone on their display shelves wins!!
I LOVE THOSE TREES

Alex or I can repaint one for you:eek:MUAHAHAHAHhahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaa:eek:

The Rommel Taxi is a must for me especially since it comes with Rommel in his white tunic.

I like the plane idea. A Stoch with Hanna Reich getting out on the Unter den Linden would have been nice if Berlin had succeeded. Or Adolf getting in for his trip to South America! :D

I collect only a smidgen of Afrika Korps, and I don't want to spend $189 on another plane right now (waiting for that Mustang). My wife just told me just how much our bank account says I spent on soldiers last month. Even I was surprised, but still I finally ordered a couple of versions of the Opel Blitz today when it was retired. And that Rommel Taxi would look so great on my shelf.

Considering that 999 will be made, I think you should be able to get one a few months down the road.
