Does anyone in the forum knows if the machine gunner in the cupola removable? Is there a driver?

Thanks

This classic armoured troop transport served U.S. Forces and their Allies loyally throughout the War and even into the late 1970's (with the Israeli Army). Our GI version comes complete with a driver and a standing .50 calibre machine gunner and his crew-served weapon. This winter-version also has a detachable canvas cover for the troop compartment. A towing hook at the rear of his vehicle is also suitable for pulling…

Is the gunner detachable?

Is the gunner detachable?

I picked up this nice little vehicle yesterday, and yes indeed the gunner is detachable (as is the .50 Cal). Driver included, though firmly glued in place. It's a new sculpt and the tracks look "clean", ie sharper detailing than you may have seen on previous K&C models.

Today was are clubday and some of as have pick up the halftruck

I will pick up this model next mound

I just picked this up Today, And it is a Real, Great looking piece. And finally Something that I and a few Thousand collectors, has been craving for. Gotta love this hobby!!, Now if Only Santa Or his helpers would get me the 105 field gun, It will definitrely be a Very Merry Ho-Ho-Ho HOOOliday :D.

The halftrack, 105 mm gun and gun crew add-ons arrived this morning. What a great set - as I said earlier, my favourite of 2009. All together, they make a great mini-dio all on their own. I just need to make a spot for them.

I also bought the 105 field gun and it is spectacular!! But beware; when
unpacking, one of the tiny rings (lunette) at the end of one of the trail legs broke off!!
Easy to fix with super glue, but still, be careful!!

Same thing happened to mine on the right trail leg. But I don't know if it was broken from the packing material or if I did it taking it out?

Terry

Two broken right trail legs; coincidence or should K&C check their packaging
procedure?? This never happened to me before, but I must admit that I had
to struggle a bit to remove the gun from the packaging material.
The halftrack came out of the box without any drama or damage as you would
expect from K&C; and it's a 'doozy'.
