Yo Troopers, first a big big thank you to Rob for getting this model for me off ebay. Cheers mate. Its Chas Stadden # 129. Sergeant Retreat From Mons 1914. Educated myself the other day on this retreat, man it must have been horrendous to go through that ordeal. Marching 215 miles fighting the Germans all the way, not much food hardly any sleep, and the poor Troops that fell asleep on duty got the firing squad. We can only be thankful that we didn't have to go through that, even some Troops committed suicide. God Bless them.

All wars are Hell but there's something about WWI that seems so horrendus that I'm surprised that anybody that was in it retained their sanity.
