I don't know about the rest of you but I find space at a premium..... my military room is measured in cm's not in feet...... prime real estate .....the dock side pictures from the westcoaster are fantastic....but there is no way I could do that ....but with a few facades it might be possible....also with new Operation Market Garden ...how about some Dutch street facades ........what do you think......

Any diorams pieces released by K&C are much appreciated as they are always of such high quality. Various building fascades would be nice and handy for the space challenged collector! They have made them before many years ago ( Normandy village I believe ) so I can see it happening again. Currently the full desert buildings, jetty, RAF barracks etc are great but they sure fill up a space, fascades might be more practical for many people ( and probably cheaper too ). ;)

Yes - Good Thread - I was thinking the same on facades.

I recently bought the Desert Village Diorama pieces - they are beautiful - but do take up some room in the display curios.

Facades for Arnhem / Napoleoincs - would be wonderful - a return to a French Village or Another Street scene would be good.

Space in Display Cabinet is like an Apartment in Manhatten, New York !

Some new facades or facades with a little depth to them so a few figures could be placed in them would be great. They would be a very fitting end to the Naps and Arnhem series, and a great beginning for the Russian Front range. :)

Have you looked at JG Miniatures? They do a superb Arnhem house facade in 3 sections. Only sits a couple of inches deep, so doesn't intrude in to shelf space too much, but has enough room to get some figures behind it.

Another option could be to pick up some of the Formtech buildings from Matt at Hobby Bunker, or George at Minutemen, and cut down the sides to fit depth wise.
