Wow who would of said there was a summer Tiger to be released .Not me what a surprise not.But why did we get a Eastern front version when Andy has said time and time again he would not do anymore Russian armour.I am alittle bit confused by this Tiger. Why did he not do a Normandy one or other Western front ones.I waited and waited for K&C to do some more Russian armour but had to go to Figarti for one.Does this mean we may see K&C going east with Russian armour soon.Any ideas.Simmo.

Good question.Andy has said a few times that he is not going east again, but everybodys allowed to change their mind so you never know.Must say K&C's T34 is a stonkingly good model and a KV1 or KV2 would be cool.Speaking only for myself I'd be interested in K&C Russian armour but not figures,I've got more than enough on my collecting plate as it is.I can say with honesty that Terry would not be interested in K&C doing Russian stuff:eek::D;)

Really  Wait until K&C do a Sturmovik - then I would buy an airplane :p:D

Simmo,

I have learned with Andy that never say never. He's apt to change his mind.

Who knows, he may even make Seminoles :D

They did do a wood Sturmovik back in the day, limited to about 5 produced, a couple of which were realistically weathered by Gordon Neilson. Alas, I have one of the 3 unweathered versiions of the "Flying Tank", but mine is still a fantastic model.

Only one?:D:D Who has the others?

Clearly I mean if he makes one in polystone.

I have no idea who has the others. You might want to ask Gordon, he might remember. I'll get somebody at the Symposium to take a photo of my Sturmovik, and post it.

Here are the photos of Louis' Sturmovik

Excellent model. I can even see the dust from the Russian steppe on the wings :D:D

Andy actually mentioned this plane by name in his discussion at the west coaster, he said it is such a "Monster" of an aircraft it would be difficult if not impossible to do in polystone. He explained as the size grows it tends to distort in polystone and the Sturm being so large is probably out of the feasible tolerances.

great looking plane louis, i didn't know andy did it. i saw some scottish highand game figures on a lower shelf in your picture, who made those ? they look nice

Thats a great looking plane ,i have a YAK 9 from motion models :D
Does anyone know what the price might be for the new tiger or is it a SL item
Regards Scott

I doubt we will know until it shows up in a dispatches. I don't know if it would be done as an SL item as it doesn't seem to have a lot of figures and accessory bits with it - but who knows, there could be plans to add some?

There is already a K&C Kursk'43 range in all but name: Summer Kubel, Opel, Das Reich T-34, Ferdinand (yes I know), early SS Infantry, now the PzIIIJ, Tiger 1, probably some other things too that I'm not thinking of. Oh yeah, old 88Flak + prime mover

Don't forget the SdKfz 251/22 Pak 40

Some of the AFVs work fine in western europe, but a few are valid only on the eastern front.

As far as I know, Andy's last comment to me was no russian AFVs planned for the immediate future, but you never know. I interpret that as don't expect any but that could change at some point in time.

As for the missing Figarti Russian piece see the Figarti threads.
