Great setup. Who made the Chapel. Looking forward to seeing more of your sets.

Hi Tommy,

For years, I have drooled over the Trophy Peking Gate and wished I had one. I am pleased it is included in your Boxer Rebellion collection. It is a joy to view more of your excellent figures and sets! Thanks for sharing the photos with us!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)

Your collection is really nice.I really like your Alamo collection.
Mark

It's a pleasure as usual Tommy seeing the various sets and figure of your Trophy collection.

I had seen those in your album. What a great collection! The next time I speak with Len I will ask him how many Boxer diorama sets he made. You have more room to display and it looks better. Thanks for sending your photos. Tommy

Hi Tommy,

Your Boxer and Alamo collections are awesome.

The library in the background is very impressive too.

I think I see someone perched on a ladder behind the Alamo collection (last picture).

Thanks very much for sharing.

Raymond.

hi tommy, i was wondering if the mexican sets advancing were specially made for you are were they regularly issued sets ? it's just that i have never seen literature or pictures of these before.

Hello Tommy:
I have to agree with my friend Raymond 100% that your trophy Boxer Rebellion & Alamo sets are indeed awesome! I started to get into the Trophy Boxer sets back in mid 1990's, but then decided to trade them in for the Streets of Old Hong Kong sets by King & Country. As I recall the Boxer gate/wall section went for about $300.00 each. Splendid photos!!!!!!

Hi Gary: My first Trophy sets were a dragon gun and one of the hand to hand Alamo sets in 1993. I think Len went all out on the Alamo front since the one from K&C wasn't much then. He probably made less than 10 sets of Alamo walls. Len would send Mike Laeding a lot of Boxer and Alamo sets which weren't big sellers in 2000. That is where my collections came from. The price for the Boxer gate and walls climbed to $600 later. Thanks for the kind words.

Hello "W T Allison":
My first Trophy sets (starting in 1992) were mainly Zulu War sets followed by a lot of Sudan War sets. I still have "tons" of Trophy Zulu War sets. But I decided to sell nearly all my Trophy Sudan War sets on eBay in 2005 & I only got about 50% of what I paid for them. When I sold the last two sets of the Trophy Sudan War to a fellow Forum member in NYC, NY in 2007 I got a fairly good profit on them. Ah, if I had only waited another two years to sell all those Trophy Sudan War sets in 2005!!
Best regards, Gary / "Iron Brigade" 3/9/2010

Gary: Thanks for the info on how you got started. Your Zulu sets are worth a lot now on ebay. I have a bunch of old and new Britains which I would be lucky to get what I paid for them 30 years ago.

Hi Gary

I'm sure I am not the only one who would love to see pictures of your AZW sets.

Hi Gary,

I think you should have retained the Trophy Sudan and Boxer Rebellion sets in your collection.

These are some of the best of Trophy of Wales in my humble opinion.

Best Wishes, Raymond.:)
