New Release:Chasseur a' Cheval (1 Viewer)

Thanks so much for all the kudos. We work so hard to bring our pieces to life. Its truly a labor of love. Being that we're all collectors the work represents something greater than simple products. Its really a fusion of art, history and animation. If we can bring all of those elements togethor, just right, then we feel that we've created a set that breathes life into what would otherwise be a simple static set of figures. On top of all that we try our very best to make piece acquisitions as stress free as possible by keeping strict pricing models that provide the highest quality piece at the most reasonable price. We keep our sets extremely limited which grows value as they sell out. All of the above ensures that those that choose TCS products are second to none, you folks are the best. Keep your eyes open for even more exciting new release information in the next few weeks.

The best to you all, tally hooo: Forward!

regards,

Brian

Thanks Brian for another awesome release! In addition you did keep your word: we got a bugler this time (remember the feedback on the Polish lancers) :) . These will be a nice addition to my Waterloo dio!

Now we need a French infantry column to attack the british lines.
Center line companies (Fusiliers) and Grenadiers to back up the recently released Voltiguers would add greatly to a battlefield diorama.

:D:)

Don't had the buglers white bonnets?

Keen eyes! They did! However after a trip to the Musee D'e La Armee in Paris we discovered that uniform issue what it was by 1815 that in all probability trumpeters had donned the black buzby ( museum curator ). It was a choice we had to make. I felt with all of the other offset colors he would meld in better with the black. Having said that we realize some collectors would prefer the regulation white, we will have an inventory of factory painted buglers with white buzby's if a collector wished to swap theirs out.

warm regards,

Brian

OMG !!

Those are for sure a must have range !

Brian - Congrats ! - Wonderful Job !

Brian

I want both ! Let me know how to order !

Great figures !!

Brian, this bugler
cs00404(L).jpg
come with blue jacket and sword in right hand , correct?

I thought the bulgar should have white bear skin hat instead of black... and the blue color tunic should have a lighter tone.

Del Prado's CC bulgar have the correct color scheme, IMHO

You are correct, but this has been addressed in a prior post;

Congratulations on some beautiful figures. I'm jealous that you have been to Paris recently. That museum is a real treat, I spent a day and a half in there many years ago. Anyone with this hobby would love it.

The museum is, in my opinion, the finest military museum in the world. I understand that its very Franco oriented but still: the Napoleonic exhibits are exhaustive in their detail. The Franco-Prussian area is also out of this world. I like the paintings for their 19th century propaganda value, if one didn't know history one would think the French had certainly won the Franco-Prussian war by the paintings! I like to take about three days for it every time I'm in Paris.

Two years ago - I was in Paris for the Military Land Show - had a great time. Went to the museum - planned for entire day - and the NAPOLEON SECTION WAS CLOSED FOR REMODLING :( - I was crushed - still went through the other exhibits - it was just not the same.

I plan to return to Paris this year and will only spend my time in one place ! ;)

Yes, the Musée de l'Armée is pretty cool. I believe this is the best collection and display of Napoléonic era uniforms and equipments you can find. I spent a lot of times there when living in Paris (for 10 years). Nearby (Invalides) is the resting place of Napoléon. Not too far and in front of the Musée d'Orsay (nice Impressionist museum BTW) is another museum directly related to Napoléon: The Musée de la Légion d'Honneur which was (and still) the most prestigious French décoration that was created by the Empereur himself. Please see: http://www.musee-legiondhonneur.fr/00_koama/visu_lh/index.asp?sid=320&lid=2 for more détails.

Let me know when you go to Paris and I can send you my favorite list of restauranta and things to do :)

I bet you "were" crushed!!! That would be like me going to Gettysburg and staying in the hotel. I assume they still have Napoleon's stuffed horse there. It is a pretty cool museum indeed.
