The photo is from my previous set I sold...I'm looking to buy back the LAH structure pictured...not sure of the item number? If anyone has one they would like to part with I will pay top dollar. This is certainly one of the pieces I miss the most...not to mention all the LAH soldiers. I only buy NIB items...to prove this I just sold my Patton Jeep on Ebay for $190 which was missing the box for jeep and bought another 2 days later on Ebay from Sierra Toy Sodier which had complete packaging for over $300 delivered...thats right I spent over $100 to have the original packaging:D I told you I was box lover!

I have one you can have cheap. Although it is not in mint condition it does come with a box :)

I like Terry's. do you have some dead and dying Nazis to go with it ?

Well you've really let that fall into a state of disrepair havn't you!:D

How much????

Rob

It's not my fault - it's the neighbourhood.

And the Russians have launched another assault and it is too dangerous to go into the district to retrieve it.:D

Terry

It's LAH018 Berlin 1938 Reich Chancellery Gateway the "before" photo.
i could only afford to buy it in it's "after" condition :D

Terry
How about you find it and I'll pay you $300...the difference is yours! Put your camo on soldier and head back into that neighborhood!

Not easy to find, it once brought $900+ on Ebay!

I sold a repaired one last year.....not an easy piece to find.

Ha! You owe me $300 just for looking up the LAH number :)

They rarely come up anywhere, but are very, very costly. I would guess it would cost in the range of $1000. And they rarely show up for sale.

Does anyone know how many were even made?

I think it was about a month or two ago one sold on Ebay (boxed) for less than $300...it came with two LAH standing soldiers (unboxed). I lost the bidding of course! The person selling the item was discussed on another thread relating to how well the seller would package items. The sellers Ebay name was long...something like "numberjunkcollector"?

A lot of interesting items have come up recently. $300 for a boxed example would have been a very reasonable price, especially if other figures were also included.

John,

What's it made of? Not paper machie is it.

Just imagine how much the Arnhem backlot buildings would fetch. That's one thing that will never be for sale by me.

Brad...I owned one and it was rather heavy. I would think cement:eek: o.k maybe resin!

Brad I believe (and of course only Andy knows for sure) it is an early form of
Polystone. It is heaver and denser then current items. I also have a RO41 Roman Gate that is at least 2lbs heaver then my other examples. I don't know how that is possible, perhaps different places made them, or used a different mix?

I don't know about those Backlot buildings......I would bet they would bring $1,000 each if anyone ever put one up for sale. They are really wonderful and you could easily build an entire collection around one or two of those.

I know you were lucky enough to get a few, and Louis has a small town:D

It is something you always keep an eye out for!

This one is my favorite!

And of course my Arnhem Prize!!:D
