Hey dudes:

Thought I would put some pics up of the diorama I just finished. I have to give a shout out to Prieto dude for repainting the nissen huts. Yes, I know those huts arent German. I should have made this an 8th Army landing field but I didnt have a home for the desert taxi set so I decided to make one. Additionally, not sure the Germans ever needed a bucket of sand that reads "fire" in english across it for fire protection. Pretty sure you didnt have to go too far to find sand in North Africa.

Very nice use of the plane, howitzer and huts. The repaint looks good. And as for not looking German, I'm sure that British bases and buildings were captured in the very large back and forth campaigns in North Afrika.

Hey dudes, thanks for the kind words on the dio. The lookout tower is a piece that is available through Build-A-Rama.
